How To Start Blogging?

Blogging is a word that has become increasingly popular in recent months. Blogs have been ranked as one of the most visited websites on the Internet, so bloggers are making money through their Blogs by selling advertising space, affiliate commissions, or even using Blogs for a business to promote their product on various Blogs networks. Blogging can be an easy task, but it’s also challenging when you want your blog to succeed. So, if you are thinking about starting a blog, check out our tips below!

1. Choosing Your Blog Themes

There are so many themes available for Blogspot these days that it’s hard to decide. First, choose a theme that represents your niche. You need to start Blogging on a subject that YOU know something about and would not confuse any of your readers.

Your Blog Theme should be unique because if you use a common blog theme like the default Blogger theme, chances are someone else has already used it before. There won’t be anything special or differentiating about your blog from others. Next, you need an intuitive Theme that will let people navigate through blog posts in an organized way. Some popular themes include WordPress blog, Blogger Blog, Blog Fresh, Blogger, and Blogspot.

2. Blog Writing

Please write down the name of your blog so that you won’t forget it later on. When people search for information, they tend to type in keywords into search engines like Google or Yahoo, etc., so make sure that when typing in your blog name every time they see your own blog first. If you haven’t chosen a topic yet, start by brainstorming what would suit you best, and remember, try not to choose something too general because there are thousands of blogs about similar topics already. Choose topics that aren’t too specific either because blogs tend to run out of topics pretty quickly. Think about your Blog topic for a few days, and then write down an overview Blog post on the first page. Blogging may seem like a challenging task, but once you get going, it will become easier!

How long should blog posts be?

Blog posts can range from 500 words – 5000 words or even more. If you don’t have enough time to write such long blog posts, do not worry because there is another way of publishing content without spending so much time writing each Blog Post. You can use Web 2.0 applications like Squidoo, Hubpages, Problogger, etc., which allow people to create websites and blog posts all under one domain. These sites are perfect for people who do not have the time to write full-length blog posts because you can use these Web 2.0 applications as sources of income from Google Adsense or other advertising networks.

3. Promote Your Blog

Once you have published your first blog post, promote it on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Stumbleupon. Then, if people find a Blog that they think is interesting, they will promote the blog by telling their friends on different Social Networks, etc.

4. Monetizing Your Blog

Once your own blog gets a decent amount of traffic, it’s time to promote products and services that you think will be interesting to your readers. Some people promote their products while others promote other people’s products. You can promote your own or someone else’s product for money as long as the subject matter is relevant to what you are blogging about. Since you only have so much time, promote items that will generate the most revenue for the least amount of effort on your part.

If you are using Pay-per-Click advertisements from Google Adsense, make sure to use keywords in title tags, images, and wherever else possible n order to increase CTR (click-through rate), which means more revenues coming into account! Be creative when choosing keyword searches to promote products and services that are relevant to your blog. For example, if you run a Blog about Fishing, encourage gear fishing but do not promote laptops because they aren’t related!

5. Creating Credibility

Once your own blog is getting plenty of visitors and people begin talking about it on different Social Media Sites, you will immediately gain credibility. You can also promote sites that have already built up a good amount of credibility to establish some for yourself. If you’re using Squidoo or Hubpages web 2.0 applications to build content for search engine ranking purposes, opt-in for the Adsense program so that ads will appear on your pages and drive more traffic to those posts by earning money from publisher clicks!

How do bloggers get paid?

Bloggers get paid in all sorts of ways. Some bloggers promote other people’s products and services on their blogs, while others promote themselves and earn money from affiliate marketing commissions. Affiliate Marketing means that you promote someone else’s product or service using your own blog. (For example, if you have a site about pets, then promote cat food so that you will receive a commission for each customer who buys it) No matter how many different ways there are to promote something, they can generally be classified into two categories:

1) Paid Endorsements

Bloggers are getting paid by companies to promote their products by writing posts about them that will contain affiliate links. That means that if the reader/customer clicks through the link and makes a purchase, then the blogger will receive a commission.

2) Paid Advertisements

Companies pay bloggers to promote their products either via text ads or Pay-per-Click advertisements. If you’re using Google Adsense etc. then this is how it works: when someone clicks on your blog and lands on one of your pages with the advertisement(s), they are charged because they aren’t visiting pure content/information based webpages like Google’s homepage, Yahoo!, Bing or any other search engine portal site.

So what determines if someone gets charged for clicking through an ad?

The more relevant the keyword search is about the content of your page then the more people will click on them to charge them us dollars per click. For example, if you promote cat food on a page about cats, more people are likely to click and become charged for their clicks since they have searched cat food from the search engines.

3) Creating Membership Sites and Selling Products Online

The amount of money you can make depends on how much time, effort, and money you’re willing to invest in your blog content. If you promote products for companies that will pay affiliates monthly commissions, then this is one way bloggers make money. My approach has always been to promote my products rather than promote other peoples’ stuff.

Membership sites are a great way to generate an ongoing stream of revenue (or extra income, as many like to call it) because once customers sign up through the special link, you give them. In addition, they’ll be able to receive continued updates plus, products.

Creating an eBook or eCourse is also a great way to promote products online. Once someone purchases the product, they get free updates, which are additional sales pages for other items you promote through your sites such as software programs, membership sites, etc, and much more.

That is how I promote my information products(eBooks, eCourses, etc.) online. By doing so, I’m not only promoting something of value, but whenever customers purchase from me on one item, they usually buy another because they feel comfortable making purchases through my website since there’s no risk involved. Other bloggers can promote their physical products using affiliate marketing methods or ad campaigns by paying a company to promote them. For example, if you want to promote something related to gardening, promote a relevant product such as seeds, fertilizers, or anything else you can think of.

How do I promote my new blog post for free?

You can promote your blog for free if you promote other people’s products and services online using short, interesting, and unique articles. Promote a few products from companies that want to promote their stuff through your blog (those that offer affiliate commissions). To promote products with short articles means interestingly writing about them: your content must be very good because it will make click-throughs more likely by having keyword-rich anchor text like “click here” or “read more” at the end of each article. (This is one of my favorite ways to promote my blog)

Another popular method of promoting websites is search engine optimization (SEO), which means improving your blog’s ranking in search engines by writing quality content that includes keyword-rich anchor text. That means people who search for information in Google, Bing, Yahoo! etc. will find your blog in the results because it ranks high based on the quality content you publish online.

The most important Google ranking factors are overall site quality (content) and backlinks to the website from other pages. For example, suppose someone or some company links to your blog. In that case, this is like getting a recommendation from another trusted source that states: “Hey everyone, if you’re interested in learning about this thing, then follow me over here at [Target Website] where I promote good quality stuff.” If people are willing to promote products through their websites after using them, this alone proves they’ve seen enough proof positive data to recommend them confidently.

Promoting your blog for free takes time and effort. Don’t expect to promote it once or twice and then see results; consistency is the key. It would help if you promoted your blog consistently over some time, and this means publishing quality content regularly. There are two ways you can promote your blog online: using SEO or Link Building.

Search Engine Optimization refers to improving your Page ranking by including keywords in the content so that search engines like Google, Bing, etc., will pick it up from their spiders crawling through millions of websites daily.

When someone searches for a term(keyword), search engines rank pages that have that keyword at or near the top based on certain criteria such as the number of visitors, web page loading speed, etc. To promote your blog for free, the first thing you need to do is write content that includes keywords and add them naturally in your articles.

By doing so, search engines will pick it up, rank it highly in organic searches, and then promote it through their paid advertisements which means more people will visit your blog from Google. (You can promote blogs offline through print ads also)

How can I promote my blog effectively?

The most effective method of promotion is SEO or link building. This refers to promoting websites by improving overall site quality and backlinks.

For example, if you’re writing a short article on gardening tips, promote the company that sells seeds/fertilizers, etc., by including links to its products or other relevant resources using keyword-rich anchor text like “click here” or “read more” at the end of your articles.

That means when people search for gardening tips online, search engines like Google will promote your blog because it ranks high based on quality content and backlinks.

What determines My Blog’s Ranking On Google?

The ranking of your blog is determined by the number of backlinks it has. A backlink is simply a link to any page on your website from another webpage or website.

When someone clicks on your link and visits your blog, this is counted as a backlink to the page. For example, if someone states: “Hey everyone, I wrote a good article on [topic] that you should read,” then that’s considered a backlink.

The more people promote(recommend) your blog in forums, social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), blogs, etc., the more backlinks you will receive, which means you will rank higher on search engines like Google. The rule of thumb is: promote your blog using quality content that contains keywords naturally to promote it effectively.

Summary

Write content that includes keywords and promote your blog using search engines like Google (SEO) or Link building. Don’t promote it once and then expect results; promote consistently, promote regularly.
